technology was initially developed in response to a request from Conoco Phillips, Elk City, OK, Safety Managers to find a way to protect their drilling rig crews from tornados and rapidly moving prairie fires while working in the Anadarko Basin in western Oklahoma.
The result was the only storm shelter designed to withstand 350 mph winds.
CREWSAFE shelters have been vetted, selected and standardized on by Shell BHP, Billiton, ConocoPhillips, Southwestern Energy and other safety leaders that are protecting their own employees as well as those of their contractors such as Nabors Drilling, Patterson Drilling, H&P, Pense Brothers, and others.
We welcome PetroQuest to our list of distinguished partners along with the others who recognize CREWSAFE Multipurpose Safe Rooms and Shelters as the "Best Available Technology" to protect their most valuable asset...their employees and contractors.
